Dear English-speaking visitors

The Norwegian Petroleum Society (NPF) is Norway's most important meeting place for people working in the petroleum sector. We are politically neutral but aim to raise important issues in this industry for discussion and debate.

Every year, we organise more than 25 conferences which put important issues on the agenda. We also have 12 local chapters with voluntary boards composed of industry representatives. These chapters organise local meetings throughout the year. More than 300 people help us to do our work.

Most of our activities are conducted in Norwegian. However, we do organise meetings and conferences in English as well. We accordingly present some of the information we feel is relevant in English on these pages. Details about local meetings and conferences conducted in Norwegian are not given here. 

Our hope is that the NPF will also serve as an important meeting place for English-speaking professionals resident in Norway and visiting from other countries.
